July 2nd: the start of a new week and a new month. But more importantly it marks the start of the second half of 2012. Yes, we’ve reached the halfway mark.
Are you 50% of the way to your annual goals? Now’s the time to check.
Write down your goals one by one for the year (you should have these from January or earlier in the year). Now divide by two and see where you should be. Are you on target?
If you are, great! Use this second half of the year to make a push to not only meet, but to exceed the expectations you set for yourself. If you aren’t at least halfway to your goals, there’s no better time to get back on track and take corrective action.
What needs to change? What are you going to do differently? How are you going to make more calls, sell more product and produce more revenue for you and your company?
What do you need to do to get back on target—and how can I help? Part of my 2012 goals are to help other people reach, exceed and shatter their own goals and break their own records!
I’m well on my way, but I always use “mile markers” like this to determine if I’m still heading in the right direction.
July 2, 2012. Use this day—literally the midpoint of the year to honestly assess what you need to work on in order to be celebrating when the new year rolls around.
Make this second half of the year your best ever!
