What’s your favorite business or sales book? If you’re like me, you probably have more than one. There are some that greatly influenced me early in my career, there are those that I’ve read recently that I really enjoy and there are those that seem to be ones that I think about on a regular basis. Reading good books is one of the greatest habits you can develop.
What is your favorite business, sales or personal development book?
With the advent of the Amazon Kindle, iPads, smart phones and e-readers there is no reason not to have your favorite book at your side even if it is still a print version. In fact, I’ve got some books that are dog-eared and high-lighted so much they’re almost hard to read.
So, go back and read your favorite book again. Start now.
No matter how many times you’ve read it, read it again, take time to soak it in and make new notes in the margin. Highlight. Reflect.
Amazon.com recently had a special on the Kindle version Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change (25th Anniversary Edition)“>7 Habits of Highly Successful People” for .99! Less than $1.00 for perhaps one of the greatest, most inspirational books I’ve ever read.

I’m currently rebuilding my library on my iPad and even though it will take time, I’m enjoying it because I’m going back and reading those books again. And I’m finding new ideas, motivation, inspiration and information in each one.
So, the next time you’re looking for a good book—go get your favorite and read that one again!
Don’t forget your local library. They still exist and most have a great selection of books that you can read, thumb through and peruse to determine if it’s one you want to add to your own personal library. Also, exchange ideas with peers. Ask what they’re reading and share what you’re reading. You’ll both benefit.
